Linguine with Italian Sausage and PeppersCustomer Rating:

| 1 | teaspoon | olive oil |
| 1 | lb. | ground (bulk) Italian sausage |
| 1 | medium green pepper, thinly sliced | |
| 1 | medium onion, thinly sliced | |
| 1 | can | (15 oz.) Italian style diced tomatoes |
| 1 | cup | chicken broth |
| 5 | tablespoons | tomato paste |
| 4 | teaspoons | granulated sugar |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | dried basil |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | garlic powder |
| 1 | box | (16 oz.) linguine |
Heat oil in large skillet to medium hot. Add sausage, peppers, onion; cook until sausage is no longer pink; drain.
Add the tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, sugar, basil and garlic powder; heat through.
While sauce is simmering, cook linguine as directed on package. Drain and serve topped with meat sauce.
