Bacon Bleu Burger

Yield: Serves 6

Ingredients

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 small onion, minced
1-1/2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
steak seasoning, to taste
extra virgin olive oil
1/2 lb. bleu cheese
12 slices bacon, cooked and well drained
6 Kaiser rolls, split

Directions:

Preheat grill to hot. Combine ground round, onion, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning. Form into 6 patties. Brush burgers with extra virgin olive oil.

Place on grill and cook 2 minutes on each side. Lower heat to medium and continue grilling until meat registers 160 F. on meat thermometer in center. Place bleu cheese on burger, add 2 slices of cooked bacon and place on roll to serve.
