Beef Tacos

Yield: Serves 4

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
Shredded lettuce
Shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
Sour cream
Salsa
Taco shells AND/OR
Flour tortillas

Directions:

In large skillet brown ground beef. Drain well.

Add taco seasoning mix and prepare according to package instructions.

Heat taco shells and/or tortillas as package directs.

Fill taco shell or tortilla with meat, and top with onion, tomato, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and salsa.

Note:
Freeze any remaining ground beef into individual patties to serve as burgers or use in other recipes like Goulash or Stuffed Peppers.

For optimal quality use ground beef within 3 to 4 months.
