Edamame in Spicy Sauce
Ingredients

(1 lb.) frozen edamame in shell

Tablespoons |
Pacific Island Soy Sauce

| 2 |
teaspoons |
fish sauce
|
| 1 |
teaspoon |
sesame oil
|
| 1 |
Tablespoon |
diced green onions
|
| 1/2 |
teaspoon |
dried hot pepper flakes
|
| 2 |
teaspoons |
minced garlic
|
| 1 |
teaspoon |
canola or vegetable oil
|
Directions:
Boil edamame in unsalted water for 5 to 6 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, green onions, pepper flakes and garlic.
Heat a wok or skillet over high heat, add the canola oil and the drained edamame and stir fry until they are slightly charred. This will take about 3 minutes then add the sauce. Stir until well coated and most of the liquid is gone. Serve with an empty bowl for the discarded shells.
