Chile Turkey Burgers

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1 small red onion, diced
1 can diced green chile peppers
Pinch of ground black pepper
1 to 2 Tablespoons breadcrumbs or cornmeal, optional*
Oil for frying

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. Shape into 4 burgers.

If frying in a skillet, first add some oil. As burgers are fragile, flip only once regardless of the method of cooking. No smashing of burger either! Pamper this one!! Garnish if you wish, but not required.

*The texture is soft, so if you want a firmer burger add breadcrumbs, corn meal or whatever is handy!
