Crockpot Mock Osso Bucco

Ingredients

beef shank center cut cross cuts (about 1-inch thick)

small onion, chopped

carrot, chopped
|

celery, chopped

beef broth

Cooked noodles or rice

|
Directions:
Layer ingredients in a crockpot in the order shown. Cook on high one hour. Reduce heat to low and cook an additional 4 hours or until meat is tender and falling off the bones.
Remove meat to serving tray and strain vegetables keeping only the broth. Serve with noodles or rice and use broth as a gravy! Garnish with fresh parsley.
