Bean Dip

Yield: 8 (as an appetizer) or 4 (in burritos)

Ingredients

1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
1 Tablespoon sour cream
1/2 lb grated Chihuahua cheese
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 Tablespoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (ground up into paste), optional
1 can (15 oz.) seasoned pinto beans

Directions:

In a saucepan heat the refried beans, sour cream, cheese, cumin and chipotle sauce. As cheese melts, add the can of drained pinto beans. Stir carefully as not to break up the beans. Serve with chips as an appetizer or put in a flour tortilla for a bean burrito!
