Our Partners

  • Harvesters

Price Chopper has been a long-time supporter of Harvesters – The Community Food Network. In June 2009, we decided to formalize our commitment to Kansas City’s hungry though our Chop Hunger program. Since 2009, Price Chopper and our generous customers have helped donate more than six million meals, which Harvesters distributes through its network of 620 non-profit agencies in the metro, providing food assistance to as many as 66,000 different people each week. In 2013 alone, our donations totaled 236,949 pounds! Learn more about our CHOP Hunger program here.
  • The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Price Chopper partners with the Mid-America Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is a proud sponsor of their annual Light the Night Walk.

  • Susan G. Komen Foundation

How about a little 5K run? Maybe a jog? Perhaps a leisurely walk? Any way you choose to finish the 3.1-mile distance is just fine with the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure® , a cancer-fighting event sponsored each year by your metro Kansas City Price Choppers. We throw our running shoes and corporate support behind the Komen Foundation’s annual race, which raises money to fight breast cancer through screenings, treatment programs and education. Locally, the Komen Foundation has provided $5.3 million to breast-cancer programs, and more than $1.6 million towards national research for a cure.
  • Muscular Dystrophy Association

“Jerry’s Kids” are special at Price Chopper, all year long. We hold special fundraising sales events, such as “Aisles of Smiles” and “Shamrock Sales,” that go directly to supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Through these events, held at all 51 locally-owned stores during the year, we’re able to pour local donations into the total check that Price Chopper presents each year at the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.
  • Operation Breakthrough

Your 51 metro area Price Choppers are proud to support Operation Breakthrough, a non-profit local agency devoted to helping the most needy children - those in poverty. The agency impacts more than 450 area children each weekday through a range of educational, health and family programs. So, when we think of protecting the ozone layer or curing cancer, we believe it’ll be one of our children who finds the answer. It might even be an Operation Breakthrough child.
  • FMWR

Price Chopper partners with Family & Morale, Welfare & Recreation (FMWR), an organization that helps military families settle into the community. Twice a year, Price Chopper participates in PAIR Day (Post Information, Activities and Registration), providing free groceries to families. It’s a wonderful way to welcome new families to the Leavenworth Community.
