Our online ordering is provided through a partnership with Instacart, for both pickup or delivery. Here are answers to frequently asked questions from our customers.

    Setting Up an Account

    • If you haven’t accessed online ordering before, start by signing into the Price Chopper website.
    • Then choose Online Ordering – Pickup or Delivery from the top navigation.
    • Follow prompts on the screen to verify your location is eligible, then select “Continue with Price Chopper” to use your existing Price Chopper account information for online ordering.
    • Follow prompt to grant Instacart access to your profile information to complete account setup.
    • Once your account has been setup, you may access it directly in the future.


    Can I still use my Price Chopper REWARDS card when shopping online?

    Yes. If you logged into Instacart using your Price Chopper account, you’ll receive REWARDS points. If not, simply go to Account>Your Account and select Loyalty Cards on left-hand menu to add or edit your card information within the Instacart website.

    Can I receive contactless delivery?

    Yes, Instacart deliveries now default to the "leave at my front door" option to accommodate contactless delivery.

    Can I shop the ad online?

    Our partnership with Instacart will allow you to shop our everyday store prices online.  They may also have different pricing than what is in your local store for some items, but there are also coupons and sales available that are unique to online shopping.

    How does scheduling work for online ordering?

    You may select a preferred time for delivery or pickup as they are available. Due to high demand, schedules may have limited availability or may be delayed at this time. We ask for patience as we continue to adjust to meet the increased demand for these services.

    Are there fees associated with online ordering?

    Yes, there are fees associated with Instacart pickup or delivery. One-time fees range from $3.99-$7.99. Instacart Express Memberships are also available. For details visit

    What happens when a product is out of stock?

    After placing your order, you can add pre-approved instructions for when a particular item is not available. Alternatively, or if a selected pre-approved replacement item is not available, your shopper will contact you about other options prior to checking out. You will be refunded for any out-of-stock items that are not replaced.

    Can I order online through the app?

    Yes! Simply follow these instructions:

    • Click More in the lower right corner of the app
    • Choose Online Ordering
    • Click the 3 red bars in the upper right of the screen
    • Choose Order Online
    • Choose Pickup or Delivery
