Price Chopper Vows to sell only cage-free eggs by 2025

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. – Price Chopper, which operates 51 grocery stores in the Greater Kansas City metro, announced today that it is working to ensure that only cage-free eggs are sold in its stores by 2025. This move comes as part of a growing national interest to improve conditions for hens in the egg industry.

“Our customers want to know that their food is being sourced ethically,” said Casie Broker, Director of Marketing, Price Chopper. “Switching to selling only cage-free eggs is the natural next step.”
