Pairing the Perfect Vase with the Perfect Flowers
If you’re considering surprising Mom with fresh flowers this weekend, don’t forget to consider the vase. In any arrangement, the vase is nearly as important as the flowers themselves. Certain flower types pair best with certain containers to bring out their natural beauty without detracting from it.

Use a small bud vase when you have just one or two small stems that you want to highlight. It’s simple and elegant, and easy to do. A great compliment to a breakfast nook.Bud Vase:
These are great options for larger – but not tall – blooms. Nice round bouquets look lovely in shorter, stout vases.
Short & Stout Vases:
A medium round vase is going to be great for your standard, full-sized bouquet. You want to make sure that the neck of the vase is large enough that it doesn’t pinch the stems together, but not so large that the bouquet falls apart. (Then it looks like you didn’t get enough flowers. No one wants that!)Medium Rounded:
When using a tall vase, you want to pair it with taller flower or greenery. These types of arrangements can be perfect for a high ceiling dining room or entryway.
Tall Cylindrical:
