Party Sausage Dip

Quickly assembled sausage dip recipe made with Manwich, Italian sausage and cream cheese

14 servings (about 1/4 cup each)

  • 4 Ounce cream cheese
  • 1 can (15.5 oz each) Manwich® Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup frozen chopped onion
  • 14 *serving Tortilla chips, optional
  • 12 Ounce Italian pork sausage
  • 1/4 Cup water

  1. Cook sausage and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until sausage is crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally; drain.
  2. Add Sloppy Joe sauce, cream cheese and water. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes or until cheese melts, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.

  5. Select either mild or hot Italian sausage based on preference. Mild results in a sweeter flavored dip, while hot gives the dip a little kick. Turkey Italian Sausage also may be used in place of pork.
