  1. Use a needle and thread to string garland.
  2. DRIED CITRUS
  3. Slice oranges. Dab the extra juice off the orange slices with a paper towel (don’t squish the juice out).
  4. Line the orange slices on your oven rack. Bake at 275°F for 1 hour and then at 225°F for 2 more hours. Open your oven every thirty minutes to release the moisture. Turn the oranges a couple times to prevent lines and curling.
  5. CRANBERRIES
  6. Use fresh cranberries. To prolong the life of the garland, try spraying shellac on the cranberries after stringing.
  7. To avoid staining, do not place the garland directly on lightly-painted surfaces or linens.
  8. FRESH POPPED POPCORN
  9. CINNAMON STICKS
  10. DRIED BAY LEAVES
