Remodeled Price Chopper Offers Improved Shopping Experience

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. – The $3.2 million remodel of the Price Chopper store, located at 1645 Kearney Road in Excelsior Springs, is now complete. The remodel includes improvements to the building, as well as enhancements to the overall shopping experience.

The project began in December of 2020 and was completed June 3, 2021. The renovated store has a new deli and cooking area, all new shelving, wider aisles, self-checkout stations, a freezer and refrigeration area for storing online orders, and will be stocked with hundreds of new items, many with a focus on health and natural/organic products. The remodel also included upgrades to the building including a new roof, new HVAC system, and upgrades to the refrigeration system and parking lot.

This Price Chopper location opened in September of 1995, right across the street from the original store in Excelsior Springs. The McKeever’s opened the original Price Chopper in Excelsior Springs in 1982.
