March Kids Club Fun - Fresh Dish Post from Price Chopper

March Kids Club Fun

March 25th 2015

Thanks to everyone that came to our in-store event on March 21st. It’s always fun to see and interact with the kids. If you missed our Ants on the Log event or just want to try it again at home, here is what you will need. Remember, part of the fun is to let the kids try to prepare the snack themselves. When possible use kid sized or kid friendly utensils.

Supplies:

  • Celery, washed, cut and dried
  • Peanut Butter (or another nut-free topping like cream cheese or hummus)
  • Raisins, craisins or blueberries. (any topping will work - try black olives if you're using hummus)

Directions:

Spoon your chosen spread onto celery, then arrange your toppings. Eat & enjoy!

Our fun Spring worksheets are sure to have the kids excited about picnics, getting outside & more. *Parent Tip- print the worksheets to keep the kids busy while you are getting the ants on a log supplies ready. Then after the snack you can help them create their egg carton.

We look forward to seeing you at our next Chopper Kids Club event on April 18th!
