National Fluffernutter Day is observed annually on October 8th. We're taking it to the next level with some Halloween inspired treats. Fluffernutter Graveyard 

What you need: 

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) bag marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 bottle Smucker’s Magic Shell Chocolate topping
  • 6 Nutter Butter cookies, halved
  • Black icing pen
  • Green icing

What to do: 

  1. Melt butter over low-medium heat in large pot.
  2. Add marshmallows and heat until melted. Stir often until butter and marshmallows are smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add Rice Krispies and stir until evenly combined.
  5. Spread mixture in buttered/greased 8”x11” baking pan.
  6. Place in refrigerator to cool.
  7. Once cooled, spread chocolate shell evenly over rice crispies mix. Work quickly to avoid chocolate from hardening too fast.
  8. Place Nutter Butter halves upright to resemble gravestones.
  9. Place in refrigerator to cool and allow chocolate shell to harden.
  10. Once set, use green icing to decorate gravestones to resemble grass.
  11. Slice into squares and serve!

Fluffernutter Monster Mouths 

What you need: 

  • Peanut Butter Cookies
  • Small Marshmallows
  • Marshmallow Fluff, place in icing bag
  • Red gel icing
  • Candy eyeballs

What to do: 


  1. For each monster mouth, grab two peanut butter cookies.
  2. Squeeze marshmallow fluff onto the back of one cookie.
  3. Line half of marshmallow fluff with red gel icing.
  4. Place 7-8 small marshmallow on top of red gel icing to resemble a row of teeth.
  5. Top off the marshmallows with another line of red gel icing.
  6. Place second peanut butter cookie on top of marshmallows to form a sandwich.
  7. Decorate top with candy eyeballs. Use red gel icing to secure in place.

Fluffernutter Ghosts

 

What you need: 

  • White Bread
  • Ghost Cookie Cutter
  • Peanut butter
  • Marshmallow fluff
 

What to do: 

  1. Stack slices of bread in sets of two.
  2. Use Halloween-themed cookie cutters to cut shapes in bread.
  3. Carefully separate cut slices of bread.
  4. Spread peanut butter on one side and marshmallow fluff on the other slice.
  5. Press together to form sandwich.
  6. Decorate with black gel icing to make extra spooky!
