  1. Drain and rinse the beans.
  2. Add the broth and beans to a pot and simmer together for a few minutes.
  3. Add the chopped kale and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and add the diced ham and let sit for a few minutes.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
