You can bake with, top with or saute with compound butter and use it to add flavor to proteins, vegetables, and breads.

- Divide butter or dough into sections.
- Put each section formed into the shape of a log onto saran wrap.
- Wrap well and then roll it in parchment paper.
- Secure the paper down with scotch tape.
- Tie ends with bakers twine or decorative ribbon.
