A peanut butter lovers delight. Perfect for your next barbecue or gathering.

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking soda in a large bowl; set aside.
  2. Combine butter, water and peanut butter in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil.
  3. Add to flour mixture and mix well; set aside.
  4. Combine eggs, vanilla and buttermilk; add to batter.
  5. Spread into a greased 15"x10" jelly-roll pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until it springs back when gently touched. Do not over bake.
  7. Prepare Peanut Butter Icing: Combine butter, peanut butter and milk in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil.
  8. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar and vanilla to a spreading consistency.
  9. Spread peanut butter Icing over warm cake.
  10. Refrigerate 1 hour or let cool 4 hours before serving.
