Autumn Harvest Sangria

October 11th 2021

Fresh Dish Foodie, Abby, shows us how to create an adult beverage that will allow you to indulge in all things autumn - Autumn Harvest Sangria. This drink will have you celebrating the changing of the season with fantastic fall flavors. This will be sure to spice up the fun at any gathering.

Sangria literally means “a wine mixed with fruits & spices”. For our recipe, we’ll use apple, pear, orange, and pomegranate. But the secret ingredient is the homemade cinnamon simple syrup!

Once you’ve got your ingredients combined, allow the flavors to develop for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

          1. Combine the wine, apple cider, brandy, cinnamon simple syrup, and fruits in a large pitcher.
          2. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight prior to serving.
