Fireworks Salt Painting

            Materials Needed:

              • Table Salt
              • Construction Paper (black makes the colors really pop, but any color can work)
              • Watercolor paints
              • Paint brushes
              • Liquid white glue
              • Cookie sheet

                          Steps:

                          1. Start by laying your paper on a cookie sheet so the salt doesn’t get all over the place.

                          2. Draw out your design with the glue (if you prefer to draw out first, you can do so with a light-colored crayon or colored pencil).

                                                    Fireworks Salt Painting

                                                                3. Generously sprinkle salt over the glue before it dries.

                                                                4. Shake excess salt onto the cookie sheet.

                                                                                5. Get watercolors really wet and lightly paint onto the salt.

                                                                                6. Let the project dry completely then proudly display.

                                                                                            Fireworks Salt Painting
